So another new vendor this year is Rebecca. She makes some fabulous scrapbooks (sigh. i remember when i used to scrapbook. my poor children have unfinished albums!).  I'm sure many of you feel like you don't have the time to make scrapbooks of your family photos. Rebecca does the hard part for you. All you have to do is add the photos!  Here's a little bit more about her:

Hi!  I’m Rebecca Boyer, sometimes known as Scrapista.  I am a marketing coordinator by day and covert scrapper by night!  If a day goes by without at least 15 or 20 minutes of creative time I feel completely discombobulated (is that even an official word?). My love of scrapbooking really comes from the idea of preserving a piece of history, not just photos or memorabilia, but feelings and emotions.  Using a mini album to celebrate a special event is a perfect way to do that.

Our tenth vendor is Stephanie from Two Bees and a Blossom. Stephanie grew up in Greenville, SC and is a mother of 3 (2 boys - the bees and 1 girl - the blossom!).  She started sewing at the age of 14 and it has paid off! The quality of her work is excellent and she has a great eye with her fabric choices. Stephanie will be selling modern tote bags, large and small purses, wristlets (large and small), clutches, cross-body bags, and some felt and silk flower headbands. Take a look at her handiwork:

Today I'd like to introduce you another one of our jewelry vendors. My friend Mary Beth Stager started her journey with beads and jewelry making when she couldn’t find a necklace to wear to a very special event. She found some Rose Quartz and was shocked at the stringing fee. She decided she could do it herself; and she did! She spends as much time in her basement studio as she can and often has friends, both new and established, over for some studio therapy. Her work is displayed at Gallerie 110 and also at blossomcreekdesigns.com.

Her work is impressive...just look at that detail! She will have a variety of jewelry to choose from. I'm happy Mary Beth will be joining us this year!

Up next, my friend Beth is joining us this year with her adorable canvases and lovely home decor. BLT is her new venture and I'm thrilled that she is diving into the handmade world.  I think you will love what she is making!

My name is Beth Townsend. I am a wife and mother to three of the greatest blessings on the face of this earth. They have really been the inspiration for my new venture into the crafting world. While trying to decorate their rooms with cute things on a budget, I found the only way to get what I really wanted (in my price range) was to do it myself! I would not have considered myself in any way crafty prior to becoming a mother, but here I am! And best of all...I'm

loving it!

I started out by making some cut paper art on canvas for my kids rooms.  From there, I was inspired to try to do some DIY decorating for other parts of my house.

Lucky number 7 is another new vendor this year. She is so talented and will be a great addition to this year's Bloom Market! Here's a great bio on Jane:

   Jane Murphy has been making and building things since she was a little girl, when her mother and grandmother taught her to sew.  Her favorite medium is fabric, and she especially loves vintage pieces. She has a degree in fashion design from F.I.T. in New York City, where she worked in the garment industry at the beginning of her career.  When she moved to Georgia, she began a workroom, making custom window treatments and bedding, which she continues to do today.

   A few years ago, her daughter, a chef, inspired Jane to create custom aprons. Since then, Jane has added market/tote/travel bags to her line, and is constantly exploring other possibilities.  Jane sells directly from her workroom and her shop on Etsy is named janie janes.

“I enjoy what I do and especially like a challenge and the creative process.  I can’t imagine not creating; it is part of who I am. I am inspired by the world around me, in the colors and the patterns I see."

So Bloom Market is not just for the women folk. Check out our next vendor, Spare Time Artisan, and you will see why!  I'm super happy she is joining us this year selling her whimsical bowties! I know there is a man in your life that would look dashing in one of these cool ties. Here's a little bit about Kristie:

I'm Kristie Fields, also known as Spare Time Artisan. I squeeze my sewing in between carpool runs, laundry, grocery shopping and sporting events (hence the name!) for my husband and our four teen and pre-teen boys. I love sewing bowties for men and older boys, and I especially love using beautiful fabrics from Liberty of London, my favorite store. According to my husband, sewing ties is just an excuse to stockpile fabric, but I will use it all eventually-really, I will!

i completely understand the addiction to fabric...i have the same issue!  Kristie's booth is a must see!! A handsome bowtie would be a great surprise in any man's Christmas stocking!!

 i'm excited that this vendor is returning this year. she is our youngest vendor at the age of 13. and she amazes me (not just because i'm her aunt!). she has always been artistic since the day she started drawing. and now she is sewing and crocheting like a pro!  her name is Lane and her little business is called Periwinkle (named after her childhood nickname given by my dad...plus she really likes the color too!). she sells adorable fabric headbands that can fit toddlers to adults, curlicue scarfs in a variety of colors and yarn type, and crochet bags that can stretch to hold just about anything!  

i'm super proud of my niece! Lane has been working so hard preparing for Bloom Market! make sure to come by her booth to see everything her hands have made! i am certain you will be impressed!

so #4 vendor is Katie from Replated. the first time i saw this concept of recycling license plates was at an outdoor market in Rosemary Beach. i loved it. and so i'm thrilled to have katie join us this year at Bloom Market with her super cool signs.  Here's a little bit about her:

Well, hi! I'm Katie and I'm representing my little venture, Replated. As a child who grew up without videos, dvds and ieverythings for long car rides, we played games with the other cars' license plates to make the time pass. I have a special appreciation for them and since I love the idea of recycled art its a perfect fit! I wish I knew even a few of the places each plate has been. I am loving giving all these pieces with history a home in a piece of art work that has history for my friends and customers!

so raise your hand if you like jewelry?! i think its safe to say that most women love accessories and Bloom Market will be a great place for you to shop for some fabulous jewelry! we have several jewelry vendors...all with their own unique style.

the first jewelry vendor i want to introduce is Ingrid of BEADINGrid...here's a little bit about her!

My name is Ingrid Morris and I’m a part time drama and art teacher. I’m a full time wife and mom of four. BEADINGrid is an excuse for me to make one of a kind cute, affordable and fashionable jewelry FOR ME. Recently I’ve been invited to in-home jewelry shows. Love the stuff, but not the prices… So, I said to myself “You can make that!” And that’s how it all started. I never make anything that I wouldn’t wear myself. I love color, texture and ere on the side of big instead of small. Each piece is one of a kind. Really, they are little works of art.

When asked where I get my materials the short answer is EVERYWHERE. Some of my stuff is from the traditional crafts stores, but I love to remake or repurpose, too. I scrounge sale racks, thrift stores, garage sales and my own jewelry drawer. I’ll even take commissions for reworking sentimental favorites or that awkward piece that just doesn’t work. 

If you see something you like, but need a different size and color…. Just let me know! I love doing personal orders. Also, talk to me about wedding jewelry. I’ve made several sets of bridesmaid’s jewelry. You won’t find a more unique and affordable gift option!
